Overview: FIT refers to Free Independent Travelers — individuals, couples, or small families who prefer customized itineraries instead of joining fixed group tours.A Sales Executive – FIT is responsible for curating these tailor-made holidays. The role is ideal for people who are good communicators, love travel planning, enjoy customer interaction, and can think creatively to match a client’s dream trip with practical arrangements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Handle travel inquiries from individual clients (domestic or international).
Understand traveler preferences, destinations, and budgets to create personalized itineraries.
Prepare quotations and detailed proposals including hotels, sightseeing, transfers, and add-on experiences.
Follow up with potential clients to convert inquiries into bookings.
Coordinate with the operations team for post-confirmation arrangements.
Maintain daily sales reports and ensure timely follow-ups.
Daily Work:
Attend to walk-ins, emails, and phone inquiries promptly.
Research new destinations, trending experiences, and hotel options.
Compare and negotiate rates with suppliers or destination management companies (DMCs) to ensure cost efficiency.
Prepare professional itineraries and share them with clients.
Communicate with partners to check availability and confirm bookings.
Skills Required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong destination knowledge and understanding of travel products.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office, email writing, and CRM tools.
A customer-focused approach with problem-solving ability.
